The lager is designed for lager beer. Its cracked shape, tapered at the top, emphasises the colour, clarity and degree of carbonation particularly well. This shape also promotes longer retention of head which gradually releases the aroma. The glass has a leg by which the glass can be held so that the temperature of the beer is not raised.
